Congrats to The Katniss Chronicles! After just finishing our second season, our little audio drama won four Audio Verse Awards for 2013! I play Effie Trinket in The Katniss Chronicles, an audio drama adaption of The Hunger Games made by fans for fans. I was honored to be nominated for Best Supporting Actress in a Fan/Adaption. Voiceover acting is a new way for me to play and it's great fun to work with director Sam Rhodes and producers Barbra & Bryant Dillon.   

The production was recognized for Best Fan Adaptation, Drama Best Writing in a Fan Adaptation and Best Performance by a Large Ensemble Cast, as well as Best Actress for Barbra Dillon’s performance as Katniss Everdeen.

Created in 2013, the inaugural Audio Verse Awards seek to highlight excellence in all aspects of online audio dramas and are voted on by members of the online audio drama community, making this a peer-based award.

“We are all proud and honored by this recognition,” said Head Writer/Producer Tony Caballero, “and the fact that it comes from our peers makes it that much more special.”

Based on the bestselling Hunger Games trilogy by Suzanne Collins, The Katniss Chronicles tells the story of Katniss Everdeen, a 16-year-old girl living in a post-war America where children are chosen to fight to the death for the entertainment of the masses in a nationally televised annual event called the Hunger Games.
