ruth gamble: actor, writer & farmer who fits in your pocket
![]() About the book... These sepia-tinted short stories follow a malleable character on his journey through the early 20th century to find the simple answers to the big questions and the complex answers to the small. Slices of fantasy and ordinary-ness, the stories taste a bit like Jim Henson's Storyteller Series- if they were told by Thurber or Marx (Harpo, that is). And, what's more, there is a plan sewn into the title, to encourage Grownups to read aloud to each other like our parents did to us in our childhood.
